This is Brian Charles Steel close up food photograph of a deviled egg with paprika on it.  The yoke mix was placed in the white with a pastry bag.  The egg is lit from behind and takes up most of the frame.  It was shot with a macro lens and has a shallow depth of field.

Behind the blueberries is a banana at a slight angle.  In front of the banana on the right side is a lime.  Behind the lime is a peach.  Behind the banana on the left are grapes and a strawberry.  Behind the grapes are a lemon and a peach.  Behind the peach are a green apple, a red apple and an orange.  The fruit has small drops of condensation and all of the fruit is in focus.

To the left and behind the plate are salt and pepper shakers.  On the sides of the plate are a fork, spoon and knife.  Behind the plate on the right side is a glass of red wine.  The pasta is lit from the back right side.

All of the veggies are in focus.  In this photograph I used complementary colors and contrasting textures to make a vibrant photograph.
